time sure flies when you are having fun! being a mom is nothing but amazing. i love learning new things about brighton each day. monday was brightons 2 month birthday & sadly i never got a chance to take pictures until today...so this post is a lil delayed but hey! i am still a new mom & getting used to this i am on brightons schedule thing! ((i think i will be trying to get used to this for a very long time))

2 MONTHS

• brighton is finally enjoying bath time! like a lot...she kicks & splashes like she is having the time of her life. she is going to be my lil water baby-i cannot wait to take her to the beach this summer!

• she is starting to do this pouty face whenever she is sad- holy moly it breaks my heart! i literally run to her in that moment to comfort her so she is not making that face anymore! i will then say to her "where is that smile that momma loves" then she flashes her toothless grin & i give her like a million kisses!

• she loves momma milk- she pretty much eats every 10min of the day & it makes it pretty impossible to get anything done. ever. but sometimes do feel like a supermom that can just bust out a good house cleaning before jake gets home so it looks like i am also a superwife too!

• jake & i make sure that she doesnt watch tv when it is on but secretly when we are distracted she will turn her head ever so slowly just to make sure we dont notice ((sneaky lil girl))

• she is still such a cuddle bug & i love it!!! for our morning cuddles she loves to lay on my chest- she will start to make her lil sleeping noises so pretty much sleep is out the door for me- but that is for sure one of my favorite moments of the day.

tomorrow brighton has her 2 month shots & i am NOT looking forward to it- i can already see that poor lil pout! i am excited to see how much she has grown though!
