one of my favorite holidays is the 4th! i love the fireworks, the BBQ's, the colors! it is all perfect. this year was so fun having a lil one to enjoy the day with. i cant get over how cute she looked all dressed up in her red, white, and blue! the day was full of entertainment. jakes family sure knows how to party. every year for the 4th they have a family camp out in the backyard of jakes grandmas house! the whole day is filled with fun things for the kids to do. it was by far better than my last 4th of july when i was so sick i was by a toilet all day throwing up from being so sick being pregnant....it makes me sick just thinking about it. those are the days i do not miss.
i adore this lil girl with all my heart! she is literally my world. all those days that i hoped we were having a boy i am sure grateful that heavenly father blessed me with this girl! brighton was super skeptical of the fireworks...pretty sure it scared the hell out of her! i kept her outside as long as possible trying to get her to like it but most of the time she just gave me the biggest pout and was pulling on me. poor thing...maybe next year she will like it more?!
utah has been having some super hot weather lately so i look like i am melting in half of these pictures but i wanted to share some love on the blog :)
